Creating a Movie Playable In StarCast
In order to get great video playback in StarCast, you must make sure the movie files you place in your StarCast presentation are compressed to:

    1) Swf format

    2) 12 Frames Per Second

    3) File size no bigger than 8mb
Step 1: Exporting From Windows Moviemaker

When you are finished editing your video in windows moviemaker, you will need to save out a WMV movie no bigger than 8mb.

Goto:File > Save Movie File...

In the Save Movie Wizard:

Save the movie to “My Computer”, name your movie, and select a location (such as your desktop) where you can easily find your movie.

When you get to the Movie Setting Menu, you must click the “Show More Choices” link. Click the “Best fit to file size” radio button and input a file size no greater
than 8MB in the input box. This will ensure smooth playback in StarCast. Click the “next” button at the bottom of the wizard and your movie will save to your desktop.

Step 2: Navigate to the StarCast Swf Converter

Once you have your 8mb or smaller WMV file ready, you will need to convert the file to Swf (at 12fps) format so that you can place it in your StarCast presentation.

Goto StarCast.net and click the “HELP” link at the top right of the site.

Log in to the starcast help site and click the Swf Converter Link on the top row of links.
