Getting/Downloading The StarCast Recorder
The download examples shown here are from Windows XP or Newer. If you have an older or different
version of Windows or are using a different browser, the dialogue boxes may be different. For
example some browsers will save to the desktop without prompting; however, the download process
will be very similar.
The StarCast Recorder is free to use to all subscribers of the StarCast System. This means that
you may have as many Knowledge Experts, Voice Talents, Training Administrators and others download
the Recorder onto as many computers as necessary so long as your StarCast Subscription is up to date.
To download the Recorder
Log into your StarCast Account, select “Download Recorder” from the User or
Admin Toolbox.

Click on the StarCast icon on your Map/Download page.
A downloading box will appear asking whether you want to "Save" or "Open" the StarCast Recorder.
Click "Save". The StarCast Recorder does not run an installer. Instead you will launch the Recorder
by double clicking the StarCast Recorder Icon. Therefore, save the Recorder to a location you will
remember. Many users save the Recorder on their desktop.
