Step 6: Track
and Manage
Once you have "pushed" your training content to the appropriate portals, you can now track every
detail associated with your users and their use of your content. This enables you to verify that
everyone has completed the courses, tests, and surveys you have assigned to them or has recieved
critical documents, announcements, or webcast invitations that are essential to their success.
Relevant and Accurate Hard Data
The Reports Module provides instant access to the vast stockpile of data your StarCast sytem
continuously compiles on users, content and system activity. Pre-formetted reports are grouped
into convenient categories that make is easy to extract real-time information on users,
attendance, content, venues, training plans and much more.
StarCast allows you to drill deep into user histories to analyze which courses were viewed, which
slides were studied, viewing times, test scores and much more. Or, just as easily, analyze your
content - courses, tests, surveys and documents - by who viewed them and in what context they
were accessed (PortalPUSH, Library, etc.) Reports may be viewed on screen or exported to Excel
for further study.
• Individual Training Reports (ITR): The complete training history of
each person: courses, tests, and surveys taken, test scores, pass/fail, certificates achieved,
training plans completed, documents downloaded, etc. Each user can also view their own ITR from
the History tab on their portal.
• Training Plan Reports: Shows training completion or overdue reports by individual or selected demographic. Reports show an overview of total participants, the number that have completed the plan, those that are in progress or have not been started. A drill down allows each individuals’s progress on the plan to be viewed. Training plan reports may be set to run automatically on a chron-schedule every day, week or month and may be subscribed to any individual in the company.
• PUSH Reports: Shows total participants in each PUSH Event, who completed and who did not. Drill down allows each participant’s activity in the PUSH Event to be viewed and exported to Excel as needed.
• Content Reports: Shows a complete list of all content in the systems including courses, tests, surveys, and documents, who the content owner is and status information.
• Overdue Reports: All training elements in the system that can be attached to due dates for completion have corresponding overdue reports that allow managers to see who's completed and who’s overdue. Forward guidance settings allow managers to look forward in time and query the system as to who will be overdue in 30 days, 60 days or 90 days.
• Test & Survey Results: Shows where each test and survey was used and allows the results by individulal to be displayed. Comparative results on a question by questions allows each question to be separately analyzed.
• RocketMail Reports: Allows the send and receive history of each Rocketmail to be viewed. Report is broken down by who the RocketMail was sent to, when they viewed it, how many times they viewed it and how long they watched.
• User & Group Lists: Shows all users and group affiliations in the system.
